The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and with a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. the cottage itself was immaculate, bright, and airy, with all the necessary amenities provided. We particularly loved the generous welcome pack and the fresh eggs from the free-range hens. the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable king-size bed were also major advantages. it was a perfect location for a relaxing break.

There were a few minor issues, such as the firm and slightly uncomfortable sofa bed, which may not be ideal for adults. the sofa bed cushions were stained, but this was only noticeable when we transformed it into a bed.

Great value for money, with a clean and modern room that had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to local towns. The staff were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could have been more varied.

loved the spacious and airy cottage, equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, like a warm comforting cuddle. The shower was fabulous and the heating was zonal, perfect for chilly evenings. Appreciated the welcome treats and can't wait to book again!

Nothing, all was good.

I recently stayed at Grooms Cottage in Wareham and couldn't be happier with my experience. The cottage itself was beautifully modern and well decorated, with the added luxury of underfloor heating. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious, making it easy to prepare meals. The hosts, Gwen and Martin, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a generous welcome pack that included delicious treats like Dorset Cake and wine. The location of the cottage was perfect - peaceful and quiet, yet still close to attractions. it was a delightful stay and I can't wait to return in the spring.

The location of the cottages is perfect for hikers, as it is a great base for exploring the beautiful coastal path. the owners are friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. the cottages are cosy and spacious, and wheelchair, friendly. the farm feel with free, range eggs, deer, and lambs adds to the charm. the cottages are well, appointed and come with a lovely welcome pack of goodies.

The sofa bed in one of the cottages was quite firm, which may be uncomfortable for some adults.

cottages at woodlands, grooms cottage was even more amazing than our previous stay in wareham. the peaceful countryside location and warm welcome from the owners made us feel right at home. the modern and clean property had everything we needed, including a comfortable king size bed and a well-equipped kitchen. the fresh eggs from their free-range hens were a delightful touch.
